Technical Writer

NucoreVision, Incorporated is currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer to support efforts on several federal government initiatives. This candidate will be responsible for preparing technical documentation for the Client. The documentation can include technical manuals, instruction materials, presentation documents, website information, reports, research documents, and business correspondence. All documentation must meet the established Client’s standards required by the contract. The candidate will be responsible for quality control of some or all of the documents developed by the team prior to distribution. The candidate will interface with customers and vendors to resolve technical and quality problems within documentation produced.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in English, Social Science or other relevant subject area; professional experience can be supplemented for education
  • 3-5 years of professional technical writing experience
  • .
  • Experience with documenting security plans, procedures, policies, and standards required
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, and Visio
  • Prior federal government experience preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and oral communications skills required
  • Strong research experience
  • Currently possess or have the ability to obtain a DoD government clearance required
