NVI-CFC Community Outreach at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School - DC Public Schools Beautification Day
August 23, 2008 - Team NVI-CFC was part of the joint venture between DCPS, parent leaders and community organizations in their efforts to restore school facilities in preparation for the first day of school. Team NVI-CFC joined other community organizations to perform landscaping, painting and other tasks to prepare Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary in the Ward 8 section of Washington, DC.

The annual DC Public Schools Beautification Day was established in 2005 as the official day for a citywide “spruce up” of all DC public school buildings and front grounds in preparation for school opening.

Beautification Day A combined effort from various community groups including Team NVI-CFC to beautify DC Public Schools.
